Welcome to Inspyre Education and Counseling's Internship Program for the 2024-2025 School Year! 

At Inspyre Counseling we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals. Our internship program is designed to provide students with comprehensive, hands-on experience in the field of counseling and mental health services. Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, our program offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and gain invaluable skills for your future career.

About the Internship 

Duration: Academic Year 2024-2025 

Location: Inspyre Education and Counseling Offices

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students in relevant fields of study (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling) 

Application Deadline: September 15th 2024 

What You'll Gain

Our internship program is structured to ensure that students receive a well-rounded experience that prepares them for their professional journey. Here's what you can expect: 

  • Hands-on Experience: Work directly with clients through individual and group therapy sessions, intake assessments, and community outreach programs.
  • Professional Mentorship: Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in the field of counseling and mental health services.
  • Skill Development: Enhance your therapeutic skills, gain practical experience, and develop a deeper understanding of various counseling techniques and approaches.

Internship Areas 

Interns at Inspyre Education and Counseling will have the opportunity to work in various areas, including: 

  • Individual Therapy: Assist in providing one-on-one counseling sessions to clients, focusing on their unique needs and treatment goals.
  • Group Therapy: Facilitate or co-facilitate group therapy sessions, helping clients share experiences and support each other.
  • Intake Assessments: Participate in the initial assessment process, learning how to evaluate and understand clients' needs.
  • Community Outreach: Engage in School community programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness and providing support to underserved populations.
